Delete Your Buzz Data

You can delete some or all of your data in Buzz at any time — without having to delete your account. This page explains your options and exactly what data is deleted or retained in each case.
Option 1: Delete Individual Sessions In-App Instant
How to delete a single session
- Open the Buzz app and go to your session history.
- Swipe left on the session you want to delete, or tap into it and select Delete.
- Confirm the deletion. The session transcript and metadata are permanently removed immediately.
Option 2: Delete All Session Data via Email Within 7 days
If you want all of your session transcripts and metadata deleted at once — while keeping your account active — send us an email request.
How to request bulk session deletion
- Send an email to [email protected] from the address associated with your Buzz account.
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- In the body, specify that you want all session data deleted but wish to keep your account.
- We will process your request and confirm deletion within 7 days.
What Data Is Deleted vs. Retained

Note: Backups held by our infrastructure providers (Firebase / Google Cloud) may retain deleted data for up to 30 additional days as part of their standard backup rotation before it is permanently purged from all systems.
